Do you guys reckon that Williamson will come straight into the centre of midfield or do you think that Aidy will keep faith with Bangura? Its a big game to bring someone new in just wondered what your thoughts were?

Bangura has done OK but his passing has been pretty shoddy. I have a feeling he may come straight in.

Bangbang will start but I hope we'll see Lee on late.

I've never heard of Lee Williamson before the rumours started, i've never seen him play, not a clue what he's like

I'd keep Bang bang in for now but introduce lee slowly off the bench for next few games! He's just come back from injury and the pace of the premiership may be too much to begin with!

I'd get Hoskins in straight away though! Bang in form!

I think they may both begin on the bench, although i think aidy will definetly bring them on.

Stick Young upfront with Hoskins and put Williamson in mid with Mahon

The problem with Mahon-Bangura is that they are both natural Defensive Midfielders, which makes our attacking play very static. I really hope Williamson is good, because a diamond formation in the middle, with Mahon or Bangura in the defensive role and Williamson up behind the strikers would be great.

As for strikers versus Liverpool there are so many options now... Hoskins-Hendo could be a nice pair, as Hendo can create space for Hoskins with his strength and headers. Another option is Hoskins-Priskin, which is a pair that will certainly be deadly in games where we create lots of chances. Against Liverpool, however, I would use Hendo-Hoskins.

But who knows, we may have signed another striker before Liverpool :)

Al is a walking yellow card and has only been brought in as a replacement for the 'impressive' Francis, I hope Lee will start against the scousers !!

I expect them to start on the bench but to end up in the first team after one or two games.

nah, id say young back to the wing, but no idea about up front.
williamson and mahon should start, unless he needs to recover from injury as said above

i wouldn't risk Al against the scousers, a certain booking in the first 10mins and then he is walking a tighrope for the next 80 mins. I could actually see Francis coming back in (if still here by then?)to add a bit of experience and allow for Williamson to come off the bench later on.

I reckon it will be Young on the right-wing and Hoskins and Priskin up front, provided we haven't signed another striker by then, which is a possibility people seem to be forgetting.

I'm not sure whether it will be Bangura or Williamson in centre-mid though (I think we can consider Francis safely behind Bang-Bang in the pecking order at the mo), a lot will depend on whether Williamson is fully fit again.
Though, he has got two-weeks to regain fitness, including probably a reserve game in-between, and I remember reading some quote on here from some coach saying that Williamson is the fittest player they have ever seen.

If we don't buy any more players before Liverpool the Midfield and Attacking line up will probably be this:

    Hoskins Priskin

    McNamee Mahon Bangura Young

    With Williamson on the bench.

I think we definately need to put Hoskins straight in because after watching him on youtube he is a lethal finisher. He scores every goal imaginable. 1 Pen, a few volleys, loads on the turn, a nice lob a couple of tap ins. He's a natural poacher whos also good at everything else.

Williamson as well looks alright and has a pretty hard shot, I don't think he will come in ahead of Bangura in the starting XI though because of his injury and the fact he is untested. Hoskins though straight in as we have no other striker who can shoot apparently.

Hoskins should come in because he has his shooting boots on at the moment, and knows where the back of the net is.

    What about Ashikodi ?

I think he will get a start today, as he is not cup tied, and if he does well he may be in contention against Liverpool
