Well not sure many will take up this offer given the cost? https://twitter.com/WatfordFC/status/1667849158844370947
The ticket includes a guided tour of his double executive box and a 10% discount that can be used in his gift shop on the way out
They haven’t said who the legends are either . Probably be Richard Johnson and Tommy Mooney .. The club don’t get on with Luther, others will be working etc and hardly any were at the 100th anniversary game v Boro so they interviews Tom Cleverley at HT and an older player who could hardly talk unfortunately (due to bad health )
Yes, Andrew French congratulating him on Twitter today was what caused me to revisit his chequered past, and the 2020 interview he gave in which he was relentlessly self-pitying, blamed everyone but himself for his multiple violent crimes and the fact none of his children want to know him, and generally came across about as pathetically as it was possible to. Depressing given my treasured memory of getting a WFC car window sticker signed by him after school at Ricky Park when he came in to pick up his wife (at the time).
Potentially. Guess this has nothing to do with the hierarchy so probably go as it’s a community thing (albeit expensive one !)
I'm washing my hair that evening so won't be able to hand over 100 quid for a tour of the showers and a bag of chips in the company of Trevor Senior
Depends who the club define 'legends' because that is very different to a the average fan would see as one. Richard Johnson (aussie heart throb) Troy Deeney Luther Blissett Tommy Mooney Nicky Wright Allan Smart Lloyd Doyley Alec Chamberlain Tony Cotton Gifton Noel Williams H. Gomes Are all in my personal 'legends' list, but then again not every fan would agree.
Well going by a post on Facebook Luther knows nothing about it unsurprisingly. And this will be being organised by people who have been at the club for a while too . Unless the hierarchy are telling them who to invite . Be Richard Johnson and Tommy Mooney .
"Those empty trays are really strange Danny, I could have sworn this was advertised as a catered event..."
£100 a ticket is laughable, this club have to be the worst at reading the room. Every single time they get it wrong it’s a joke
I think you could be right. They will keep taking the pi$$ out of fans because lots still pander to it all.
It’s obviously £100 as it’s hundred years and people will pay it ( then probably complain they wasn’t worth it ) but when Mr WFC isn’t invited yet you wonder who the legends will actually be.
Maybe our groundman could be in with a shout? Looking after our green carpet for a good few seasons now. They have certainly earned it, even though the football played on it has been a bit like when we ground shared with Saracens on a rainy Tuesday.
Legends are not real so it must be Siertes (sp) and that bloke Junior somebody who couldn't get a visa.
