The striker hit 40 goals in 47 appearances last season, helping Steve Evans' side to the Conference title and the fifth round of the FA Cup, where they were narrowly beaten by Manchester United. The impressive statistics and televised cup clashes brought Tubbs to the attention of a host of clubs, including Reading. Millwall and Watford have also been linked with the 27-year old most recently, after selling their leading scorers from last season, but Tubbs is concentrating on life in League Two. He said: "As a player you always hear rumours but that is all they are until something happens. All I can do is keeping playing football, keep trying to score goals and getting in the right places. "It is not just me that is being linked with other clubs - we have eleven great players going on the pitch every week so everyone is in the window really."
I really like this guy, purely because he help keep L*ton in the conference for yet another year. We should let Crawley keep him, just as a thanks.
He is a good lower league striker. If we signed him I wouldn't be happy. He hasn't proved himself in the league yet, and from what I've seen of him he isn't close to this level (yet).
Also, we are signing Craig Mackail Smith (connor's brother) and talks between Malky and Cardiff have broken down.
