I don't think we missed out - we didn't want him. On the few times that I have seen him he didn't impress me. I would much rather have Smiith, Mcanuff and Hameur everytime - no contest imo.
Same i would not have wanted him when we have capable wingers allready. Much prefer that we actually got a new striker. Wolves obviously wanted him because they missed out on Mcanuff.
Aidy even admitted he'd been watching Jarvis.... im content that betty didnt see anything too special.. reading what their chairmans had to say about it all, it seems Mattys agents been desparate to get him a move for over a year now. Sounds more and mroe as though that guys been built up into something he's obviously not.
Jobi is proven at this level (even if he did have an injury prone season last year) so i feel we have signed the better of the two...and it was unlikely we'd sign both (unless Bouazza was leaving which i don't think will happen)
There are people out there (his agent for one) who are adamant that Boozers on his way..... he'd be a massive loss for us if he did go!
WE'd be well and truly farked if Boozer left. He's a big threat and we would not be abvle to find a replacement nomatter how much money we were paid for him.
