Yeah I agree about FS, I like him a lot. But I’m just saying, it’s strange to limit how many left footed CB’s you can have in a squad to 1 but having 5 right footed players is fine. One of those weird left footed things again, like the wand and the ‘so one footed’.
In a back 3 you can have two left footers or two right footers, assuming the central player can be either. Not so good in a back 4.
Personally I'd prefer Clarke before Hause especially as he's still not fit and ready. He just seems a solid unspectacular type defender. Not a bad passer of the ball and looks pretty comfortable with it on transitional plays.
There are approx 500 left footed professional footballers in the UK according to my (very brief) research.
A very lazy Google search. So many not even be accurate. It is fairly common knowledge that one in ten people are left handed. According to Google there are 5000 professional footballers in the UK.
Ha, same as me - don't think I've ever stumbled across someone else with that same combination before, it must make up a rather small percentage of the population.
As small as those made now to be left handed ( Rafa) by forward thinking parents/relatives/coaches? The opposite of all of those poor sods like Rosewall and Connolly who were lefties but made to write/play right handed as it was a sign of Lucifer at work.
"Careless" but stopped you from becoming world #1. I would sue your coach, parents, siblings, anyone you can. Given my tennis ability, I perhaps should have tried using my left hand (which is barely capable of picking up a coffee mug) to hit the ball. IMHO, you don't see players switching to southpaw or using the reverse-sweep often enough in tennis.
At this rate the only left foot we may get is if we sign Daniel Day Lewis based on his performance in My Left Foot.
I did consider this. The question is which percentage of people are left footed? Even if the answer was 40% we'd probably still fail to sign one of them!
