Yup, great going forward and lazy when it came to off the ball work. I don't think Sordell and Doyley will be going for a beer together tonight...
Sordell had a great first half both going forwards and covering back. As a team we sat back in the 2nd half and Sordell did not have any impact at all, can’t remember him doing anything in the 2nd half.
Well, he put in some fantastic passes for his team-mates. After such a great first half, I was puzzled at his disappearance after the interval, and it was no surprise that he was subbed. From the Rous stand, he looked decidedly peeved about it - did people closer to the tunnel see any signs of dissent?
What???? Sordell was our best player in the first half last night, bit quiet in the 2nd half. Was nice to see a player in yellow try and take someone on!
20rdell had a good game tonight, would like to see him play up front with DG10 again though as whenever they linked up tonight they looked impressive.
Welcome. Your loyalty to the movement will be taken into consideration when judgement day is upon us.
I was sat in the upper rous for a change tonight and I felt in the first half we were a bit exposed on the left as Sordell would not cover. Yes he put in some excellent crosses and had some good control but from the vantage point I got yesterday I really appreciated his laziness. Doyley was expected to do some overlaps (and so he should) yet Sordell hardly tracked back, Doyley either had to come and pressure the attacker (which left space at the back) or hold his ground and let the attacker run with the ball unpressurised in the knowledge that Sordell wasn't going to chase him and put the attacker under pressure. However, he did look good going forward, and is a threat.

Yes he goes by the name of Will Buckley, the only man on a regular basis who will try that and he is a winger!
No it's not, it's a postcode in Dumfries & Galloway. Which is fairly close to Carlisle, where we signed him from. That must be more than a co-incidence. Oh, no..... I was wrong, it is a coincidence.
What's all this "I started the DG10 nickname" nonsense anyway, he started it himself, look at his car number plate..
Don't you try and steal 20rdell JB, I came up with that... Along with 7heDon and Eust4ce Deene9 and Buck11ey
We have this week and next week. Then I'm back for two days and then off until the next Tuesday due to the Royal Wedding... You'll have to put up with extra garbage until then
Indeed, he really doesn't give a **** now. I'd say cash in, but Dyche'll probably replace him with Ade Akinbiyi.
I've been saying for a couple of weeks now he needs a kick up the arse. Plus, he and Garner are too similar to play together; they're both nippy little players who like to buzz around but neither can really hold the ball up that well or win ariel battles - that man is Chris Iwelumo. I'd stick Iwelumo up there with Garner for now.
I don't see how replacing a talented albeit lazy player with a donkey will get better results and improve the team. The problem seems to be that Dyche can't motivate Sordell as well as Malky did.
Because lazy players are passengers, and when you are doing badly you need workers to win the ball and keep it, dig down and win gritty games. Sordell doesn't do a bloody thing at the moment. Might as well be playing with 10 men. Deeney/Iwelumo and Garner up front for me.
