tony francis's piece in the telegraph today tells of Marlon talking at Aidy's motivational meeting for watford staff at Sopwell House. He was the only player there, it was for all the office staff, and he spoke to them all about his 'take' on the future at Watford. Not the actions of one out of favour or on his way.
Great stuff, lets hope its start of something! Shame you have to hear about it in The Telegraph though. It really would'nt take much for the club to put a few lines on the website to that effect!! It seems when it comes to Marlon the clubs PR have a bit of a problem, you only get to hear about the bad things (and even then 3rd hand) and rarely about the good. What I'd love to see is (and it will never happen) is a Marlon e-mail once in a while or a Q & A on here perhaps (even less likely). Admin, any chance of asking the club? or have you had any official acknowledgement from the club of our existence?
Excellent idea sir oliver - Q & A here or even on the PTV site would be great. Either the clup or PTV would screw it up though. It's as if they've been on a course entitled 'How to really screw up public relations'
Maybe a punishment I've heard he's off his crutches (and I think it's in the article) so I hope he can get a couple more games before the end of the season
