Ben Foster saying about marlon on sky sports.

Ben, How is Marlon King doing and when will he be back?

Yeah I think Marlon is doing okay. He was unlucky with his injury but he is not around too much at the moment because he has to rest his injury for about two months. But he is popping in from time to time to keep up with the lads and get together

Allegedly starts light training tomorrow, but no doubt with Manure as opposed to us.

Fungus won't sell Ben in the next few years.

If he is rushed back to soon

and took another knock, would that then turn into a long term injury?

Without prejudice Jobby, it would be wrong and unfair on all parties concerned ie Ben, Manure and WFC to rush him back if the injury isn't healed 100%

    Is that wishful thinking Paddy?:)

    Hi Scalex

I am happy if either play and certainly wouldn't want Ben out for a long time, but I am no less confident when RL is in goal and IMO he has improved one hell of a lot even without playing much first team footie. So a run of games would be interesting to see if we do in fact have a sound keeper in the wings.

If Jobby is correct and he is as bad as he thinks then we will know for certain that a new keeper or Ben back on loan is a neccessity. Having spent all his years growing up through the Watford ranks it would be a shame to release him or sell him cheaply and he turns out for another premier team and gains a first team place week in week out.

All I would like is that he gets a run of games to show us what he can really do in the best league in England. I feel he as a player deserves that.

I totally agree with you PYA.. i was never RLs biggest fan but since his return he has shown a vast improvement.

Paddy, you know I agree with you in the Richard Lee / Ben Foster debate, and I will am eager to find out whether Richard excels given his chance. It must be difficult to stake a claim for the no.1 jersey from the bench.

I admire all your confidence in Lee, but at some point coco will screw up big time and it will end in tears.

In one half at Pompey he got lucky FOUR times due to being indecisive.

I think that with the improvements that his game has seen since last seasons loan-out all it will take is a bit of first team experience to help him sort out the indecisiveness that is still there, when you consider that he has been with us now for sometime and not really played very much its little wonder that he isnt the best he can be yet, but i believe that he is heading in the right direction with his game and that we have potentially a great asset in him.

I hope you are right, but can't see it myself.

It says a lot when JS rips in to you :)
