Apparently he is being lined up to be the next manager. He's the ex Belgium manager. Don't honestly know much about him but it's a strange rumour to come out now.
But if the media think Walter is wobbling, they may repeat it to deliberately rock the boat and see if they can create a story out of what they know is nothing... That said, I'm pretty sure Gino has a rolling short list of managers ready in case the balloon goes up.
Ignore that Twitter account. It only seems to Tweet during transfer windows (or just before them) and it appears to be largely pot-luck. Victor Valdes to Cruz Azul and whatnot.
A Little Englander with a massive chip on his shoulder who wouldn't know the first thing about working with decent players
But is going ok with a limited squad. One thing is certain - our players would be a lot fitter I suspect. That doesn't mean we'd have better results of course!
Not really. He's still a Little Englander with a chip on his shoulder and his Burnley squad are still made up of poor to average players who he has coached to run around a lot and play an ugly but effective style of football.
If your assessment is correct, then it begs the question why we are wasting money signing what you describe as "decent" players to achieve less than Burnley's "poor to average" players
We haven't achieved less than them, stop talking nonsense. They've gone above us today for probably the first time this season and we have played one game less than them. If they're still above us at the end of next season after their second year as a PL club you might have a point.
That is true. But you are still talking the most utter drivel, though I respect the fact that it is your true opinion, and written with absolute conviction.
It's all a waste of time though isn't it, as the Pozzos will probably never hire an english manager, let alone an English manager they have already fired. So no point getting worked up about it.
I'm pretty good with numbers, names of countries and the pedestrianisation of Norwich City Centre. Why do you ask?
Well, he did f ucking dreadfully with the Belgian national team, but kept his job for a very long time after everyone had turned against him because the federation couldn't afford to buy him out of his contract. In light of that, he eventually continued to do so badly that they went and bought him out of it and fired him anyway after he was as s h i t as ever at the Euros.
Even the Pozzo's wouldn't be stupid enough to consider a guy who hasn't been a club manager for over 10 years.
