Haven't seen any posts regarding they City game so I have taken up some free time to start one up. However if someone else wants to do an improved one, feel free to delete this temporary one and replace :)

    To sum up recent events:

    Watford
Our beloved Walter Mazzarri was sacked in the week just after the the narrow 4-3 defeat to Chelsea at the Bridge. Oddly enough, it was one of our best performances away this season (bar the Arsenal game) where we really looked like we could at least nick a point or three. Unfortunately, it was that bleedin' Fabregas who "ruined" the night for us by scoring a 'Fab'ulous goal in the closing minutes of the game. Ultimately though, it was inevitable and I, alongside other people in the pub could see the goal coming from a mile away (although, the shot wasn't that far out).

Even though Watford did put up a fight, it was thee game Mazzarri's future was going to be based upon and unfortunately for Mazza, we just couldn't win. Probably to do with the lack of winning mentality or something of that regard.

    Man City
Man City on the other hand have not lost in 7 consecutive Premier League games only losing to title winners Chelsea 2-1 on the 5th of Apri, away. However, they have seen a couple of draws, most notably to Middlesborough which ended 2-2 which is unusual considering Middlesborough have had a tough season with scoring goals whilst doing rather well at not conceding too many at the same time. That said, City have just recently thrashed Crystal Palace 5-0 which was watched after playing some 7-A-Side football myself. Even though it brought a smile upon my face at the time, I am a little concerned because I think that a similar scoreline will reflect onto the game tomorrow if we don't turn up. They also "marginally" beat West Brom (3-1) and Leicester (3-1) at home but did manage to concede 1 in both games which may be a slight glimmer of hope for Watford tomorrow.

    My Prediction
I really think we'll be in for a tough game tomorrow as City are hungry for Champions league football and a single point will guarantee that wish. Hopefully though, City will only be fighting for a draw and that could be another point for us 'Orns pushing us back up to the very impressive.... 15th.... If Burnley lose.

If, by some miracle we manage to sneak 3 point out of the game, it will push us up to 12th and with that in mind, I can guarantee Mazzarri will leave the club with a smug face claiming "I did better than that Spaniard last season". But that is IF we win tomorrow and IF the other teams lose.

All in all, I hope tomorrow isn't the "we'll sit back and just get hammered without trying" game. I hope we push for a draw or a win because at the end of the day, we are safe and the difference between 17th and 16th really doesn't affect me too much. I would rather we lose trying against one of the best teams in the league than draw parking the bus with incredible boring football.

Furthermore, as much as people did dislike Mazzarri and his supposed recent comments, I really hope we don't spoil the day by booing him and the team. It would really affect the players morale for next season (whats left of the players and their morale) and would definitely be off-putting for any managers stepping up to the job. The last thing we want to do if scare off the potentially good Marco Silva. Lets hope for the best tomorrow, and let's get a great atmosphere going! Come on you 'Orrrnss!
