Yes, if what we need is a small-but-talented winger that vanishes for 85 minutes per game & can't track back & defend. If so, he's an exact fit.
Always expected something when Macca came on, but sadly didn't happen very often. Good player but lacked that something to make him very good.
Did it for us and was very successful, but people forget this and go on about his early appearances as a 10 minute sub, when he was 17. Good player, certainly a game changer.
Spot on.. I think people forget just how good he was during our promotion season. Cant quite believe he's 28... thats horrendous.
he will do well at the Dons and I think they will be in the Championship next year, just hope we hang on long enough to have a local(ish) derby (and not with Wycombe).
Have to disagree with you. When he showed us glimpses of what he could do he was awesome and could go past 2 or 3 players with ease.
Have you ever seen him play? Even his worse critics wouldn't call him ****. A very talented player with pace, skill and a great cross. If he could produce week in and out he would be playing in the prem.
Brilliant goal at West Ham I seem to remember. In FA Cup or something. A over head kick that sent us wild behind the goal that day as we didnt often see wins during that season in the Prem!
Last season at the vic he really changed the game when he came on. He is an impact sub who would of been worth getting on a free.
Yes he can't, hence why he isn't playing there! And hence why I don't want the world's most inconsistent player. :forehead:
If he had any sort of consistency he would be playing at the same level as Young. Technically he is a better player that Young.
I think he was technically as good as Young not better, however I am a big fan of Young and am really pleased to see him doing so well (albeit it at Man Utd). Plus Young scores goals. I remember a few games when Macca stepped up a gear and looked a different class to anyone else on the pitch, unfortunately he didn't do it often enough which is probably why he didn't make the Prem.
Hes 28?! What the hell happened there! Used to love when he came on, always had a new trick up his sleeve. Will do well at MK, he was still doing a good job at Naarich last season.
