Gomes confirmed on official site. No confirmation of Dyer as yet or did I miss it?

 

We can clearly make announcements so a bit worrying that there's no Dyer announcement if it has been done?

Gomes was released by Spurs, so he was a free agent. So he can be signed by anyone at any time.
Dyer is still under contract with Leicester until 1st July. We can't really announce his signing until it can go through the normal transfer channels and that can't happen until the transfer window is open.

 

Gomes is a Spurs player until the end of the month.

No deal can go through till the 1st cause the transfer window Isn't open.

To be fair, there was 1 article on Frey which quoted the source as Gianluca DiMarzio I believe and I don't think he ever said we were definitely getting Faupala, only that there was interest, which there almost certainly was, based on the player's tweets at the time.

 

He didn't say we were getting them, did he? He's absolutely certain on this, to believe anything else would be foolish. People have to learn that with the Pozzos the announcement time makes zero difference.

It's gonna be pretty embarrassing for them when they find out he's already signed a contract with us.

 

I'm in two minds here. On the one hand, worrying that it's not been announced yet. Surely means that the deal has collapsed.

On the other hand, if it is still on and he has definitely signed, then this is the surest sign yet that Deeney is off.
