Hi Firefly, 35 miles from Manc to L'pool, taxi from airport to ground won't be much dearer than train.

 

12.07 takes 50 mins £8 single 3 day advance ticket or £8.10 cheap day single.

 

Looking forward to my day out in Liverpool, not only a quality place to go and watch Footie but no work until January.

 

Some people have all the luck Douggie, I have work the day before and after!

How you getting there?

 

Leaving 6ish so I get there around 9am. Hopefully the pubs are open.

Our last premiership away win was against Liverpool. Who knows we could beat them again, get in their faces and work hard I think we can give them a game.

Another early start, leaving home about 5.30am!!

 

Driving across from Doncaster where I'm staying for Christmas. I'm planning on leaving my car at Birchwood and getting a train into Lime Street. If anyone has any idea whether there is a better place to park up and get into Liverpool I'd be glad to hear it.
