LIME STREET STATION.

when you come off the train, bear ( pya and george ) left, go out off the station. look past the cab rank, and just the other side is the PUNCH AND JUDY,very very cheap, friendly and close to the station, and the cabs for a ride to anfield. found this some years back on the way to tranmere.

if you come out off the station, the same way but turn right by the cab rank, walk down the small hill. small pub on left is always good.

keep walking down the hill past the lights, and the weatherspoons in on the lEFT., OPP THE SHOPPING CENTRE.

THE BEST PUB NEAR THE GROUND, IS THE ARKLES, USED TO BE A RIGHT HOLE, BUT IS MUCH BETTER NOW, AND IS A STONES THROW FROM THE AWAY END.

The wetherspoons we used for Everton by lime street was decent. met some sound scouse lads in there and again after the game where the same lads recommended some decent night spots! Ended up gatecrashing a house party and getting no sleep til we got back to aylesbury on the Sunday evening!

Me and my mates used to drink in a boozer before games called 'The Cockwell Inn', had to change its name to the 'Cockwell' in the end, closed down now due to the unsavoury clientel that frequented it.;D

Started drinking in one called 'The Willowbank' now thats shut down 'for refurbishment', do you think they're trying to tell me something!!

We now go in 'The Cabbage Hall' but its always heaving in there, takes ages to get served.

I'm going up on the coach as I'm travelling alone - sorry that's sad isn't. Would have loved to gone to the pub to see you all and would loved to have met Roadsendscally. So nice to put a face to a name on here.

However the coach will drop right outside the ground and then I have got to dash to the club shop as unfortunatley one of my sons is a Liverpool supporter and I need to try and get him a few bits for Christmas. Just goes to show how little influence a parent has on their children.

punch and judys!!! not only £1.70 pint of lager, £2 pint of snaked bite yeaaaaaaah! who was in there everton remember the infamous manc bird that a certain timmothy bought along, and after leaving there the wetherspoons refused to served me as i had too many so i left em a supprise in the toilet!!! punch and judys was the main cause of the infamous sky sports news interview i done
