Come on Meanie - Get those sweets bagged up - 3 reserved in Beckies section for the Lower Rous Halfway Line!
Hi John. 150 bags made up so far. Will that be enough for you. Also got no one to sell for the Wigan match as young Becky can't make it. Do you fancy selling a few sweets for me (amd Watford)?
You probably wont see me as I usually stay in the family room in the East stand selling all sorts of delicious sweets. A young volunteer goes round the ground selling bags whcih have been made up of 1p sweets in 50p bags. Thye are good value compared with some of the things you buy in the catering parts and all the profits goes to the Watford Community Trust. WE made over £2,000 last season although I think it might be less this year as there are not so many matches in the Prem. Anyway dont forget to bring your money tomorrow.
I don't know if selling sweets will fit in with my liquid intake schedule before the game mate! :]] If you could notify the whole ground that they can come along to the halfway line and get their sweets in the LR that day, we may have a deal. Otherwise, you'll have to get Arry Ornet to do it.
"And it's no sacrifice Just a simple word It's two hearts living In two separate worlds But it's no sacrifice No sacrifice It's no sacrifice at all" OK - as the great man said above, it is no sacrifice but I have 3 junior hornets to consider: From youngest to oldest: MY Becky: will not be there (she can't handle the night games) Bob: would love to do the job - good little "Bob-a-Job" Cub but wants rewarding for it (I suppose that comes out of my pocket! ) No. 1 son Tommy: "Why, When, What do I get for it?" - In short, needs a kick (lazy get of a Lurkio) but should do it in honour of 100 years of scouting and he calls himself a good little scout! With me being willing (as ever the mug!), the only stumbling block is what time do you want us there? - taking into consideration I normally finish work at 5, and I've got to get round a Lootown supporting boss to get out any earlier.
Nice one John. If it's a case of you or no one else to sell them I'll m,ake do woth whatever time you can get there. Just need to sort out getting sweets to you. Perhaps between the two of us we can also sort out your Lootown boss.
Sooooo generous Caz. Chris Kamara gave me £1 the other day and he didn't take any asweets. Just donated it to the Ttust when I was trying to bribe him with sweets to be extra nice to us
