Not quite the £10m that Paladini said he was worth http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/f/fulham/6293048.stm Another couple of hundred grand in the coffers?
Surely this means Foolham will end their interest in Boozer? Shame he's going to the prem (christ he'll get found out big time) because I was looking forward to watching him bottle it again like he did a couple of seasons ago!
Good bit of journalism from the BBC there! Unless I am wrong, I am sure he came up throught Aylesbury's system and then we knicked him from there. Din't they try and take us to court or something over it for more compensation? If the deals has add ons as well, how does that impact upon our sell on clause?
So the boyhood fan`s dream to play for QPR has been achieved and now its just money - can1t blame him I suppose when you consider what turmoil his club have faced. Shame we didn`t hang on to him as he could have been a straight swap for Heider.
We'd get our share in installments. So say it was £1.5m up front + £500k over 6 months + £500k after 30 appearances and we have a 25% clause we'd get: £375,000 up front, £125,000 spread over 6 months and £125,000 if he reaches 30 appearances.
Well those figures were off the top of my head but yeah, it should. Though of course we still have the player too :dismay:
Well he will be cheaper for Fulham than Bouazza will be so it is understandable that they have gone there first.
As much as I dislike him for leaving the club, he almost single-handedly kept us up in the few months before he left.
great player who was getting better all the time - pity he left the way he did - good to see him get a chance in the prem & good if we have sell ons attached
I really dont know why people hate him so much , just a young man with ambition, what is wrong with that ?
u r joking, fat little judas.....put him up against the same wall as connolly and pelt breeze blocks at him....
Why? He was our best player for two years. He went to the club he loved as a kid when they were more or less at the same level as us. There's nothing wrong with that. If you were at Sheffield Wednesday, having joined the academy there quite late on in your teens, and then we came in for you and offered you a contract, would you not come?
£1.5 million falls far short of their estimation, they have really over estimated him-i cant see fulham paying more than say £2.5 million to get him maybe £2.5 up front with 500k add on clauses
Lets hope during Cooks first training session with Flem HH in his last day before signing for us breaks both the little tw@ts legs.
What are you playing off? I am just organising a golf day in October for Robert's football club - I'll have to invite you.
Colin I played 4 rounds, first time the clubs have been out in a year. Would have to be off late 20's at the mo. Would love to come along and support the raiders
Rumour has it it's anywhere between 15% and 25%. I can't find anything anywhere to confirm it though.
I have no idea whether we have a clause or not but how could we have commanded that if he went on a free transfer at the end of his contract?
