Lessons have be learnt, if we had announced Rose only holding his shirt nobody would have realised how fat he was. Anybody see what size that is as it evidently wouldn't fit him.
(Don't fall for a selective YouTube video, don't fall for a selective YouTube video, don't fall for a selective YouTube video...) He looks a right player there!
lol i know what you mean. He isnt anywhere near as skilful as he looks there. but he is as strong as he looks, and as good in the air as he looks.
he may not have a podcast, but he does have a record label or something (or at least he records songs). On songs, FYI, the Villa chant for him is to "Our House - Madness"......but he hates it....if you want to make him like you dont sing it lol.
its ok-ish, he is perfectly ok at simple passing and recycling the ball, as long as he doesnt try anything outlandish, but dont expect some of the crazy passes and runs you see in the highlights video, if you do see them it will result in a turned over ball 90%+ of the time. His strengths are in his physical power, aggressiveness and ariel ability, he isnt particularly agile (as he is a tank) and can get turned by skilful players, but if you throw a long ball/corner/any ariel type ball at him he will eat it for breakfast, or if you try to physically tussle with him, he will break you in half lol. He is almost like a proper old school defender, aka he will break you in half and pee in your cornflakes.
He needn’t worry, we’ve only got Gold by Spandau Ballet or a line in an ABBA song available at the moment.
Thanks, but why as a Villa fan are you sending me a Wolves video? Also do you have an updated video of him, preferably of his time at your club and not a decade ago when he was at Wolves and HD didn’t even exist. Had to squint watching that.
honeslty couldnt find any vids of him specifically at Villa, other than the end of that vid where there is a few clips. tried my best!, sorry.
Terrible fan. Real fans don’t watch the game, they record every player at every game with multiple angles, like Moog does for us.
Worringly Kortney Hause can probably be squeezed into Gold and with Pedro potentially on the move....
Tremendous descriptions in this post, have a really clear idea what to expect. Apologies if you've already done it somewhere else but could you do likewise for Keinan Davis?
Hey, no problem!, this is what i wrote in the Davis thread: Davis does have some issues with injuries, but last season with Forest he wasnt too bad, he played in 18 games (of 24 available - while he was on loan), but granted, thats still 6 games missing due to injury, hopefully if he does join you, he will manage to avoid injuries. In terms of Davis as a player, he is a proper hulk, he loves to man handle opposition players and is very capable at holding up the ball and bringing team mates in to the game. What is good about Davis though, is that he is actually quite nimble and skilful for a big man, and can turn and run, and likes his step overs and going past players. Davis historically did and has had problems scoring goals, although at Forest he did well in that regard, he played 1124 minutes, scoring 5 goals and getting 2 assists, in game time, that a goal every 2.5 games, and a goal contributing action (goal or assist), every 1.8 games. Its a bit of a meme at Villa, but i do think its also true in a sense, that if Davis could add goals consistently to his game, he would be a complete striker, he is powerful, fairly quick, fairly skilful, nimble for a big man, likes a battle, likes to try tricks and skills, but clearly the one thing missing historically, which is in the end most important, was goals, which always limited him, but at Forest i think he was starting to show what he was capable of, hopefully you will see the same. Genuinely, if he stays fit, i think you guys will actually like him, Forest fans were unsure at first, but after a few games many Forest fans were saying he offers a completely different dimension to their play and was actually a critical part of getting them promoted. Highlights of Davis at Forest: Then someone asked about “whats the catch with Davis?”………I said: he had/has two catches. catch 1 - historically injury prone (although did manage 18/24 games for Forest last season (injured for 6). catch 2 - goal scoring, its a bit of a Villa meme that if he scored regularly, he would be a complete forward, as he is so well rounded as a player apart from the goals. Obviously, goals are probably the most important part, so that was always his main issue, however, fingers crossed he will do well for you, as at Forest last season he scored on avg 1 goal every 2.5 games, and provided a goal contribution (goal/assist), 1 in every 1.8 games. If you can keep him fit, and get him scoring/providing like he did at Forest, you will have a very good player on your hands. One thing i will say for Davis though, even if he isnt scoring, you can guarantee he will lead the line well, run the opposition ragged and bully them, while also doing his best to bring players in to the game and be a good hold up player.
I've always felt he's similar to Michail Antonio in lots of ways - hopefully someone who can get his fitness and kick on earlier in his career maybe?
possibly a good comparison yeah, i dont know too much about Antonio, but the limited knowledge i do have, you might be right!
Asprilla s already taken that . Plus the good ones are generally reserved for the attacking players . Defenders have to make do with the back catalog of chants . I would imagine Hause will be be allocated the newly vacated Cathcart song .
The "Do do do do do do do do do" one? It doesn't fit so well does it? I suppose Do do ( etc etc)Kort nee Hause" might work? Committee meeting of the 1881 incoming no doubt.
You might as well stick around here from now, to follow Villa reserves. Plus we've got the GT connection. Always had a soft spot for you guys as all the in laws are Villa fans.
Blur's 'Kortney Hause'? I imagine it goes something like this: Kortney Hause! Plays in central defence, Kortney Hause! A steady deployment. Kortney Hause! Is a heading fanatic, Kortney Hause! But his passing's erratic.
Kortney Hause! Left Villa without warning, Kortney Hause! Cos Gerrard was boring. Kortney Hause! Caught the first train to Watford, Kortney Hause! And stood in the Rookery, booing. Kortney Hause! Put his bib on his tracksuit, Kortney Hause! And ran down the touchline. Kortney Hause! Got a shout from Rob Edwards, Kortney Hause! And sent on to the pitch.
