I swore I would never compare my kids current life to when I was a kid but....who has it harder Personally I think kids today have a tougher time. Yes luxuries are now necessities but tougher to hold down a job, social media creates issues, harder to get on the property ladder etc etc Oh and they missed wfc in the 80s
I feel sorry for today's kids. My childhood was a lot free-er, (does that make sense)? No phones, just a "see you at tea time Mum", and off we'd go.
Kids are protected in cotton wool and want for nothign these days. The ammount of expensive toys and clothese they now get as a matter of course is obscene. There is a sense of entitlement due to incresaed standards of living,that creates an illusion of it being a tougher time to live but kids today have it easy by comparison to 10, 20, 50 years ago.
