Unfortunately it seems as if fantasy is about to play out in the real world. Tomorrow the British government, in their wisdom, are launching an advanced military satellite system called Skynet which will help deal with battlefield communications (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6434773.stm) So far so standard. But what was that name again? What year did the Terminator 3 movie clearly state that Skynet would take over the world? Right. Cheerio everyone! I'm off to my bomb shelter! What are they thinking? Next week we'll hear that American scientists have decided to re-animate genetically modified dinosaurs on a south pacific island. I mean, what could go wrong?
