[RUBBISH] John Smith

I know. Ridiculous name. Doubt there's even a player in the game with this name. Maybe an up and coming midfielder with Dorking or Blyth Spartans ? But looking down the list of threads I just thought it would be good to have a thread with a name we can all pronounce.

Ha! Was just thinking the same myself and came here to say "At last a player with a familiar name!"



Apparently Bristol City have a Jonny Smith (on loan to Cheltenham) But couldnt find any current players called simply John Smith.. plenty from years back though. A pity, as i reckon before too long the football authorities will have to introduce a 'Home grown names' ruling.

 

We should never consider such a player.

I take it we're talking the long deceased Labour leader, can we get away with a straight swap with Arlauskis. I think he'd be a decent upgrade.
