What is the position with our diminuative midfielder.

I thought he looked quite promising and could do well 4 us in the CCC.

No point in putting him out on the wing though...he makes Smith look quick!

Despite his size he is a tough tacking terrier type of player and he is not to bad on the ball either, so I see a role for him in CM!!!

After all there have been many diminutive in stature, yet very successful, Central Midfielders over the years. Such as Billy Bremner, Johnny Giles and in more recent times, good old Dennis Wise.

He may not prove as good as that illustrious company, but IMHO he could do a good job in there!!!

I was disappointed he didn't get more match time last season.

Hope he figures in the team this season as i reckon he is exactly what we need a tough tackling playmaker with some skill able to beat players.

not ready (or strong or quick enough) for the prem but should do well in CCC

but we have so many midfielders

yet only 2 really performed last season

    bangers (when picked)
    and bouazza (obvious reasons)

The last time I looked, cavalli had never been in a losing Watford side, which is odd for last season and odder that he did not get more games.
