he has been linked with loads of clubs; three or four in the US, leeds and swindon have all been mentioned.
I bumped into a fella who knows Jay this week. Apparently he is on holiday in Bali at the moment. He is most likely to go back to the US.
Don't know if anyone else saw him but I saw Jay in occupation road just before the start of the Cov game.
I saw him on tv recently. He had Wayne Rooney in his pocket. Hello by the way. It has been a while. How are you numpties?
Hello, first post from me, probably my last, but Jay Demerit is currently playing for the Vancouver Whitecaps.
In all honesty I stumbled onto his twitter account and saw. Thought it may interest a few people as its a surprising move!
Now you have started, don't fade away again, the more the merrier!!! Welcome and Merry Christmas to you and yours :xmas-smiley-022::xmascheesy::xmas-smiley-033::xmascheesy::xmas-smiley-022:
As I'm off to see Vancouver Whitecaps tomorrow I did a little checking on Jay. Whereas I suspect many footballers don't provide for the future spending on gambling, booze, fast cars and faster women (which is what I suspect I might have done if I'd had their money at their age!!) Jay seems to have been very prudent and seems well set up for the future. . He is also an owner/partner of an interactive digital media company called 'Songwhale', which is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and part owner of two clothing companies called SECT Wear and Sasha Moon. The centre back also owns Villain's Bar and Grill in Chicago, Illinois, and is also involved in an online fitness company called The Regimen
PNE is the Pacific Nationalm EXhibition in Vancouver. Next to the temporary stadium where the Whitecaps play. For those (if there are any) old enough to remember the Miracle Mile with Bannister & Landy, the temporary stadium is on the same site as where that took place
Jay didn't play. He was injured (as he has been for most of the season) Two really awful teams - count yourselves lucky - no matter how the season goes you'll see better football than I saw yesterday!
Jay DeMerit - Rise & Shine The Jay DeMerit film - Rise and shine - is out today in Odeon cinema's. They are showing it today and again on the 29th of January. If you want to find the closest one to you then you can do so by clicking below; http://www.odeon.co.uk/fanatic/film_info/m13689
Is this still knocking about? I bet the ending's a bit crap. After promotion to the Prem with a small town club, Jay gets big ideas, flops after his big move and then disappears to some Canadian outfit or something.
The club should do a showing at the ground. If they can't due to contract reasons with Odeon show it at a later date/pre match
Does the film show some of the criticism he was getting on here in his last season? Some of the nicknames were funny, along with the outright abuse which was also funny.
Maybe but it was pretty much a tale of basically how not to give up on a dream despite having to go back again before Northwood picked Jay up. Price to watch was expensive but interesting enough.
It is on DVD already. Avaiable on their website for about £25 if I remember correctly. I'm going to see it on 29th, as I'm in Courchevel at the min. I'm expecting it to be very interesting!
