Wooden frame, cracked glass with a poor excuses for a latches and hinges. Gino currently gathering funds to get a better one or repair what we have.
See people are begging for singings and asking where are the rumours . Don’t they ever learn ? I see a few were hoping we’d be in for this guy after Monday for example. https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sport/football/loan-plymouth-argyle-midfielder-finn-9008549
Absolutely. They know Watford never do business on Wednesday night leading into Thursday. Some fans' need to give their respective heads a wobble.
I've got a source who says that we're looking at a Belgian centre back called Léon Downondapitch. Interest from other clubs is rumoured to be low, but Watford have decided that they can't miss out on this 37 (pretending to be 23) year old sensation
Looks a good buy for Boro at the price there. Not sure where he'd have fit in our team though unless he upped his defensive work-rate massively. He seemed a bit like a Chakvetadze with an end product, but who can't be bothered to make a tackle.
It's probably been posted elsewhere but as I'm not on here too often now I've not noticed if that's the case, so... Lewis O’Donnell https://insidefutbol.com/2024/01/03/norwich-city-and-watford-watch-dundee-united-talent/631785/ 18 year old midfielder at Dundee Utd, coming through their academy loan at Kelty United ended on December 31 played for Scotland youth sides yet to play for Dundee Utd 1st team Burnley and Norwich also interested Watford and Norwich have scouted him recently 6 months left on contract with no agreement for a new deal Dundee Utd 'likely' to do a deal to sell him in January if good offer comes in no word Watford or Norwich will make an offer From the Dundee Utd loan round-up for November; https://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/news/8161/LOAN-REPORT--NOVEMBER-2023.html Lewis O’Donnell is one of just 12 players in the entirety of the third tier yet to miss a league match this season. Thriving at New Central Park on the left of a midfield quadrant, the 18-year-old is a crucial cog in the Kelty wheel which has powered them into the play-off places... playing a combined 261 minutes of senior football across the three matches. There is no December round-up yet. Same agent as James Morris (via transfermarkt).
That's actually not a bad idea. Perhaps use this one for now then in the Summer make a new one for the new window. We can keep track of rumours (no matter how left-field they seem) so guests and members can keep tabs on the ins and outs each window. I'll pin this thread for now until the end of the month.
We do need a couple of players as our squad needs more options, but for me this starts and ends with GP. VAL: "Gino, serious question... Have you got big designs on promotion this season (or I'm sacked) or are you OK with building this squad over the next several months for a big push next season?" Hopefully GP says its OK we're happy with the development so far, we'll just add loanees now, see how the team goes, and add players over the summer. (there are several players right now that are on the cusp, could just be very average for us long term or could blossom over the remainder of the season). I think GP has learnt a lesson and I hope he's OK with things as they are for now, building steadily, and being honest it would be carnage next season if we did get promoted this time around.
Or in other words VI went and saw Gino to discuss possible transfer targets. Gino laughed him out of his office after giving him Mogi Bayat's mobile number and a tenner from his wallet.
I mean given the “success” of our recent signings maybe it’s best we don’t spend money ?! Livermore has proven to be the best buy and he was written off by many .
I do get a decent vibe from the Val/Manga situation meaning a more sensible approach to player acquisitions. We do need cover at FB and I'd like another Centre mid please..
The annual idea and misplaced optimism we’ll make some sort “push” for anything in the January window never fails to lift the spirits after Xmas.
It is odd that so many fans convince themselves that this time it will be different and the ownership will show a modicum of ambition. All the club will do is an overhyping of Hurtado.
Maybe I dreamt it because I’ve tried unsuccessfully to find it again so I can post it here with the source, but I’m sure I saw something this morning (not in English) linking us with the ex West Ham striker Camileri. Thought I’d say, as nothing else seems to be happening today.
He's at Sao Paolo? I can't find anything. Perhaps you had been listening to Jonathan Richmond and ' Egyptian Reggae '?!
Wiser men than me would know for sure. There was definitely a time he was prepared to carry water for his team.
