They can afford bigger wages, as they are a bigger club. They get big attendaces. Prob a better run club like 24/7 business which we are trying to achieve. We dont want another ****** scenario anyways.

14 teams finished below Everton last season. Of those, most have either bought new strikers or are actively looking. Considering that 3 of those teams have been replaced by promoted sides that would be keen to add a proven premiership striker to their side, not one top flight team has been linked with the lump that is James Beattie. Says enough for me.
Is beattie deluded ? If you could get £22 or even £40k a week would you turn it down ? If somesone is stupid enough to pay it then that must make the player wise, surely
(maybe he doesn't want to step down a league) People always complain that players only care about money, but when a player turns down a fat salary because he wants to play in a higher league, people call him stupid. It's not easy being a footballer, me thinks.
bah i am actually getting very worried now to many teams bringing in good players and to say beatie is crap is a silly comment you dont get into the england squad if your **** not that he performed well for england but its only because we know we have no chance of getting him that we put him down same as when our players go we think they are *******.... I may be wrong, but didn't he get in the England squad under Sven? Theo Walcott was in the England squad under him, so was Michael Ricketts. Enough said really.
In the last two seasns, he has hardly scored from open play, just penalties and he is certainly not worth the amount (2 million at best) but I think he is actually a good signing and will certainly score goals in this league.
Michael Rickets got an England Cap. I doubt many of us would be jumping through hoops if he turned out to be our exciting striker
