Do you lot realise that although we lost yesterday, we are no worse off than before the game as we are still only 10 points adrift of the all important 17th position, which is exactly the same as before the game.

Add the fact that we have TWO GAMES in hand on two of our three immediate rivals, and one on the other, then our position does not look so bad.

If we can win those games in hand, and I know its a big IF, we are still in with a realistic chance of survival.

So don't give up on the boys just yet, and get right behind them on Tuesday night, if we can win our game in hand against Blackburn, I am convinced it will give us the jump start we need to win another 8 or 9, which will mean survival.

    So as Aidy says..........................

    COME ON

Your blind faith is admirable, however we don't look like winning games and in my opinion we'll struggle to finish above 20th let alone survive. Lets be honest, few of our squad are Premiership standard, Shittu and Foster the exceptions in my opinion.

It's all well and good telling us to have faith etc, but the recent performances have given us nothing to believe in, i'd much rather be in the position of West Ham or Charlton, at least they've got points on the board and i doubt they are looking over their shoulders worrying about our games in hand.

Fair play for staying positive, but lets be realistic.

Voice of reason, credit to your optimism but i think Liverpool was the final nail in our coffin, win our 2 games in hand? We've won on in 22 so far and im not sure if we'll win again this season, really, we are kidding ourselves, a team with a defence that features mackay and marriappa (nothing against them) and a midfield that has Tommy Smith and Francis starting in it and no prem strikers is never going to stay up, too young and enexperienced and not enough ability, this is still an exciting time to be supporting watford though, i honestly think we will be back in 2/3 seasons time

One of those games in hand is against a very inform Blackburn side (although their fans did not seem too confident of a win earlier) and we will lose to the likes of Man U/Chelsea whilst Charlton,West Ham etc will gain more points I am certain.

Wigan and Sheffield United will go down with us I feel.

Does one need a visa and a passsport to live in Hope. What continent is Hope in? - I know its a wonderful place to live in but has no benefit to Watford the remainder of the season.

Enjoy the premiership and then enjoy promotion n ext season and then really enjoy our push for Europe 2008/9.

All looks great for the future but short term prospects are -

come on Watford - make us smile with a win or two and good performances until the end of season. Anice little earner of 3 points at Old Slagford to keep the title race wide ope would make the season.
