27 mil on Hummels. Would need to nearly double that to get Sarr which isn’t their model at the best of times, let alone during a pandemic!

Yeah, but what about Sarr's wages?

Its all relative though, if they sell Sancho for >£100m then I could see them reinvesting 50% and banking the rest

So our record transfer fee is bigger than Dortmund’s?

Crazy £27m record fee paid. And what they’ve achieved as in recruitment selling players and still being an established force in Europe. Plus keeping hot on the heels of Bayern. That’s a club that’s run well.

About as much chance of us getting Messi as Sarr going to those clubs !

Leeds spent 30m on a 29 year old Rodrigo.

They presumably have vast sums to piss away.

He’s about their level. Can’t see what Liverpool see in him, good player etc..

    Good - We're nearly there.

Villa favourites to sign Sarr at the bookies. Painful on the eyes.

Hopefully the bookies are as clueless this time as they were a week or so ago when they had Sarr at 1/10 to join Liverpool...

Villa are the sort of outfit that just can't help but splurge a load of cash up the wall. If any of the lesser PL teams are going in for him, my money would be on them.

    Can't see it though.

He's ambition hopefully stretches more than another relegation battle in a dull attacking team with basically one talented player (although Watkins and Toure might come good)

Seems a strange place to sign him. What’s wrong with a motorway service station?

I really don't get why people put stock in bookies odds for these things. They are as clueless as the rest of us.

Any decent player would Jet in for a word in their Shell-like about wages, the Murco waters of the transfer market, eh?

Player transfer odds are a terrible betting market, if you find yourself sinking into those then you have a real issue.

In bed, feigning illness while praying for a move?

I'm actually thinking he's more likely to stay than plenty of the others, given he's worth a lot more and fewer teams can afford him.

Could tell he wasn't quite 100%, he didn't properly go at them, but his linking up with JP and Ngakia was an absolute joy. Who knows, this might be his last game for us, or one of his last games, but if it is, what a way to go out!
