I'm not necessarily an advocate for getting Slimani but if you are trying to use stats to criticise Slimani's record in England it's worth bearing in mind he's scored 7 in 13 starts. OK he's had some sub appearances too but it's not a bad scoring record.

At the time Lesta thought Vardy was off to Arsenal for megabucks & brought Slimani in to replace him. Unfortunately though Vardy screwed them over by sticking around

 

He must be reasonably quick if he was seen as a replacement for Vardy !
