The 18s won 2-1 against league leaders Leciester this morning and were pretty good actually. Theo Robinson got the winner. 2 good wingers and Jordan Parkes was very good at left back.
I must admit the young guys do play much more easy-on the eye passing football and the full backs get forwards very well. I don't mind Aidy playing the way he wants us to but it good to see a Watford team playing attractive football.
i saw that liverpool played a youth cup game this week. as it wasnt mentioned on the website i presume we didnt. does this mean we are out or will play soon as i think our crop have a fair chance this year
Robinson is too lightweight for the Premiership still probably. I've never seen Parkes play before. He's been getting very good reviews for the Reserves though so far. Could he replace Stewart?
Parkes was great aginst accy stan, and showed he has a pair with his pen. not ready from prem yet though
