I'm interested, that's all. No other reason. Private poll.

I'm about 9 miles away as the crow flies, but by car it's over 10 miles so put that down.

I'm going to ask the AA website for an exact distance.

I've chosen "Further than 20" because I'm currently about 500 miles away but home is in Croxley (so between 2 and 5 miles).

Turns out from my house to vicarage road stadium is 9.7miles.

    Fascinating.

    85.83 or 77.6?

According to www.Yell.com, I am 85.83 miles from uni, (which I think may be *******s as my speedo says 100) and from home is 77.6 (which again conflicts with my cars readout... then again, I do drive a Skoda :-[ )

I live in Croxley which is around a mile and a half, so I just put half a mile to a mile.

thats because you change lanes and things like that so your speedo will always read more, on yell, it assumes you dont change lanes!!

47.3, one hour door to door subject to the M25.

The boards probably attract more people from outside the area since we a little more cut off from the club.

Surely I don't gain an extra 20 miles by changing lanes! I can see the theory behind it though, and would probably agree.

My sat nav always shows less mph being done than the actual speedo in any car I've driven, usually 5% lower. This would lead me to assume that every car is "clocked" to show a higher speed than is actually being done, hence a higher mileage shown than you actually drive.

I gain about 4/5 miles on a 75 mile journey, I travel a lot for work and always get directions of yell and always have further on my speedo than on the directions, and no it is NOT because I get lost!!

and what exactly is that supposed to mean??

Looks to me like we need to split the over 20 miles down to 20 to 30, 30 to 50, 50 to 100, over 100 in UK, and abroad judging by the amount of people over 20 miles.

according to the AA i live 18.5 miles away from the ground but they classify Caddington in South Beds as in Luton! I protest this claim and like other residents in the village, would like a postcode that did not start LU as it raises the price of my car and house insurance:mad:
