Its been ok, yet very frustrating. We should be doing better than we are, which is annoying, however being in the premiership is satisfying. I enjoyed the championship, and it looks like we are going to be there next year, but theres just something about being in the premiership, playing the likes of Chelsea, Manu, Arsenal etc. l voted 'a bit rubbish' because of the frustration of not scoring etc. Lets get back up in the premiership soon after our probable departure, and lets stay ;D
I started out loving it, then when we lost Marlon it was OK but since Sheffield Utd I've thought it a bit of a lost cause. I suppose the closest the poll descriptors get is ' a bit rubbish'. I still go with hope. ???
I think this is the problem Last time we came up, we knew we would go straight back down, so we just had a laugh and enjoyed the spectacle of the Premiership. This time, we have built ourselves up, expecting at the least mid-table, I think that we need to chill out, think of this as a learning curve, as the Premiership has changed since we were last up, enjoy whats left, We still have the Chelski State Circus still to come to the Vic!
Seeing your team lose on a regular basis is bad but it's pure hell when your team are bereft of ideas and play with no passion. I seem to remember it being that way when Bassett was our manager and we got relegated from the old first division. This season we have got stuck in and played well in the majority of games but we haven't been quite good enough. An ok season.
this season has beeen good we made 40m out of the play offs plus we sold ashley for 10m so it has been good in different ways iv enjoyed going to away games with the lads iv also met loads of new people this season to what been great and the results have put a downer on this season but still lets just enjoy the rest of the season and look ahead to next season
Well I was quite hopeful even after defeats at Bolton and Everton the team woyld do well but then that defeat to Pompey so late on and the dreadful Sheffield United performance really hit home that we were not good enough/Aidy had not brought in enough players to help us out. Now its just a mess of bad football and rotten luck with limited players who try their best but lost all confidence and morale in the main.
