Im all on for the move for him, as its a good move all way round, except the fee was abit short of what i was expecting but oh well, the sell-ons will make up for it hopefully. BUT what disapointed me about Hoskins is his attitude to leaving. Wasnt very professional.
Lots of young players like that these days I'm afraid. Least you got some cash as well. We've been shafted in recently years by players burgering off for nothing and having the cheek to abuse the club on their way out the door.
hes not short on confidence thats a fact but he is short on experience still good luck to both of them
"let's hope we can do it at Watford this year." aidy's not had enough talks with him yet then, anyone other player and they'd have been taught to say will
he is what we need a player full of confordence with alot to prove i belive take a player form any league whos scoring alot he will score at a hight levil staright away becauce of his confordence to shoot and try things i hope im right
He is not short of cockiness and that is great for a striker. Let's hope he starts to bag a few and quickly! He is in the style of a Marlon he is not a tap-in type of player like Billy Sharp at Scunthorpe. The way Aidy is shaping our squad we are going to be a great team to watch over the next few seasons whatever division we are in.;D
Even if we play lovely football, we are going to be known as Long Ball Watford (or LBW for short ;D ) for the next 10 years at least...
You're right. And while I have no problems with our long ball tactics, I feel we need to be able to switch to a passing game if necessary. If you look at our pass completion percentage we're bottom of the league. Now in CCC that doesn't matter that much but when you give the ball away 50% of the time, with the quality that is on display in the PrL - you're asking for trouble. We need to be able to pass it around and then explode with a leathal direct pass. At the moment we are not able to do the first bit so Foster just hoofs it up field and pray.
We must be wary today of using our direct style a lot as Stockport will be pretty used to long ball stuff being a League Two side...even their manager said they will be fully prepard to handle what we throw at the other Hatters. Premiership teams are surprised by it and just moan afterwards about how they were not allowed to play. Stockport won't be the same and it might end up like the Accrington/Hull games....poor entetainment and a dreadful game. HOPE I AM WRONG!
Quote from Hoskins 'massive club'...typical of a new player coming on board..he means well though.. What you have bought is a talented young lad who will have a go from anywhere...he shoots on site and he very rarely taps them in...look out for some spectacular finishing ! Williamson will electrify your midfield...just hope your players can keep up with him....just needs to curb his enthusiasm sometimes though as he looks as though he goes in hot headed in some challenges...but that's just him being passionate about how he plays... Good luck to them both they deserve to be playing higher...our problem now is who's going to fill their places ??
williamson may electrify it, but he needs to be getting forwrd recieving croosses or passes back from the front two, we dont tend to plar through the midfield
