DARIUS HENDERSON'S late goal at White Hart Lane on Saturday was a significant one for the big striker as it marked the 50th strike of his career in senior football.

But he's not the only member of the Watford squad who has either just passed or is approaching a big number in their professional football career.

Last month the former Reading frontman chalked up his100th start in league football when lined up against Everton at Vicarage Road.

Jay DeMerit made his 100th appearance in a Watford shirt in the match with Charlton at the beginning of this month and is now just nine more starts away from reaching three figures in that category as well.

Central midfielders Damien Francis and Gavin Mahon have both chalked up significant numbers too - with the latter doing so in style as the Charlton game was his 250th game in senior football and he marked it with a goal.

The same match was Mahon's 300th league start and Tommy Smith chalked up 300 league appearances (starts and subs) on Saturday at Tottenham.

Ben Foster is just four more matches away from 100 for his career, while Gareth Williams is three starts away from 200 in league football and Al Bangura is two away from 50 league games.

Marlon King's next league appearance in a Watford shirt will be his 50th, although we may still have to wait a while for that.

Finally congratulations to Moses Ashikodi who broke two ducks recently. His goal against Stockport County in the FA Cup in January was his first ever in senior football and he followed that up with his first ever league goal whilst playing on loan for Bradford City against Bristol City last week.
