Just been watching Jools Holland. Lots of established names: Rod Stewart, Ruby Turner, Joss Stone, the Sugarbabes and plenty of weirdos. Some girl called Ray, who wants to be Amy Winehouse, and Paul Jones (old fellow who could be Bill Nighy’s brother). And some up and coming talent, but no evidence of any Watford incomings, as far as I could tell. I’m not saying that there’s nothing going on behind the scenes.
Was particularly poor today. He’s been off form for years, so it would be typical for us to show an interest now. Five-year contract incoming.
