I usually wait to consider before posting and am not keen to get in early with knee-jerk ranting, so to speak. But Watford were dreadful, just dreadful.
Kiko was good as well tbf - the only one of our players with urgency and composure today, his cross for Sarr was one of the few moments of quality we managed for the entire match.
Exactly. No team got promoted by being dominated in the majority of games, sneaking a goal here and there and riding their luck with missed chances and super saves. Our defence has been overhyped. We will concede goals playing like we have been. We've been lucky. Scoring at a rate of one per game will not be enough to be promoted. **** Ivic and his 1-0 negativity. Tonight's tactics would have made QSF embarrassed at their negativity.
All the optimism is drifting away. At the start it was quite funny. Still picking up wins with clean sheets. But that's been shattered now. We have so little attacking threat and now we're can't defend a lead either. As per usual, set pieces a complete waste of time. Every single corner headed away at the near post. I don't know what's wrong with Quina, I think he's had a breakdown. The ball is there, play it. Nope, ok what about now? Nope. How about now? Great, misplaced pass. He cannot start in this division. Pedro did nothing but tried hard. Really poor performance from Capoue, game passed him by, looked very much like still in pre season. Cleverley is limited and messed up an easy chance to play in Pedro but at least he does something. Kabasele is just an idiot. Every game there'll be a mistake. Not once did he look at the ball from the corner they scored from, then made such a stupid challenge to injure himself. And Chalobah. Wow. What a terrible performance, absolutely rancid. All the credit from the Bournemouth game extinguished in one of the worst substitute performances I've ever seen. Kiko our best player. We are not getting promoted with these players in this system. We won't score enough and aren't good enough at the back. But we can't change system as the geniuses in charge have left us with no left back. So frustrating.
How does he do that without a LB? He hasn't once utilised Femenia as a LB and we've contorted ourselves into many shapes with personnel all over the place - Femenia isn't a LB and Ivic knows it.
This club is honestly just destroying my passion for football this past 18 months. We're not fun to watch, we don't put up a fight, we don't score goals, I still have to watch horse crap like Cleverley, Cathcart and Femenia and the end result is still the same - disappointment. A completely unsurprising performance and result.
Agreed. He was the best thing about that match. Seemed to be loving life. Meanwhile our cyborg looks the part but is in fact a terd of a coach.

Honestly thought some players had forgotten their studs the amount of times they slipped over. Was hoping today was the day we were going to rack up the goals but didn’t deserve anything more than what we got and that was more than we probably deserved
Absolute joke of a performance played right into their hands, they are the worst team I have ever seen at this level and they wont get many more points. Yet they caused us problems by simply blasting the ball up in the air. Yet again we looked soft from set pieces, the goal that was disallowed was fortunate although I did think it was a foul but why an earth was Foster marking their ce tre forward? We have not looked very good in any of our games so far this season and are fortunate to be so high up the table. 3-5-2 don't really suit us Wycombe doubled up on our wing backs particularly on the left and Ken is wasted playing so deep. Quina is tidy but takes too long on the ball. I guess it's one of those days at the office but we need to be a lot better in the future otherwise we will be nowhere near the top of the table.
Uh oh, Foster’s a bedwetter. Says on Sky we’re not playing well. While we’re happy with the points on the board, we’re showing no where near our ability. We didn’t play well tonight and he ‘bloody well hopes’ we’ll have more to come this season.

We've been undone from set-pieces twice now, which is probably more annoying than conceding from open play as it's something one would hope Ivic would be vigilant in coaching.
Agree kiko was good. Attacking and defending. Ekong was solid too. Foster as always class. Rest woeful
What a truly shocking performance. Lucky to even get a point. Totally embarrassing. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m struggling to enjoy this season so far. Where is the fun in this puerile defensive football we are serving up? To play ten matches and in only one of them to score more than one goal? Good grief, we had 5 central defenders in the squad tonight. But no proper left-back at the club, and we still can’t find a proper Number 9 to start a match. I fear Bournemouth’s late equaliser will mark a turning point in our fortunes and we will soon be out of the top few places. Anybody who thinks we are one of the two best teams in the division are sadly deluding themselves. We are bang average, screwed over by an inept recruiting team during the summer, a horribly unbalanced and injury prone squad and led by an over defensive coach whose ‘cling to a 1-0’ philosophy has now been found out twice in four days. We deluded ourselves that things would be alright when Capoue was back, and Sarr, and no doubt we will do the same again with the likes of Hughes and Gray. I’d read people here talk of 100 points. All we will achieve will be another season of frustration, with a lack of goal excitement that will send us all into a stupor while the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, Norwich etc show us how to win matches in an entertaining fashion.. Just how much we’ve fallen since that brilliant late February evening when we thrashed the European champions is so very sad to see.
How can you play a back 4 if Sema isn't a wing/full-back? Ivic has been massively let down by the recruitment team.
Worst performance under Ivic. No desire,no tempo, no passion, no skill, no teamwork, no ideas, no brains. Absolutely pathetic. We played better against Yeovil. We must be the only team in the division without a fit striker bar dog turd Murray. Spineless. They just didn't give a shyte tonight and expected Wycombe to roll over and have their tummies tickled. Instead we almost got really embarrassed. Wycombe played us off the park. Should of lost, would of been warranted too, I have never felt to angry at Watford as I do now. Fair credit to them, they play like that they have a chance. We bottled it. Total Watfordy tonight. I said in my preview we would bottle it, and I was right. Lots to work on now, my god our team looks bad when they perform like that. Championship laughing stock yet again tonight. We won't win at Barnsley, they'll beat us easy on tonight's show. Piss Poor.
In the very first game of the season, we scored a goal with a short corner that was then whipped in. We also created a free header for Pedro with some clever movement. Since then, we've repeatedly hit the same corner ever ******* time that's been cleared at the near post. Can anyone explain this? Anyone? Why are we not trying the things that created us chances? @reids please help?
Honestly, how have we not had a player who can take a set piece that makes it past the first man in 5 years? Multiple players have tried since Tozser, none of them have succeeded. I honestly reckon I could go on there in my socks and float one into the box.
I have to say... I’ve been a dyed in the wool COG up until now, but I’m worried about my sheets tonight.
That was incredible awful to watch. What are we trying to do? Really clueless against a bang average but gutsy opposition. Pedro, what did you think you had a pair of football boots on for? To go for a stroll? Very dispiriting performances in the last two games. We lack composure, passion, energy, intelligence, ambition, belief, etc. Do we need a team of psychiatrists to get their heads right? Optimism draining by the game. To be fair, Foster was excellent, and Kiko was decent. After that it is hard to pick out a good performance for Watford. Akinfenwe (excuse spelling) was an incredible nuisance for his size and age. Sarr looks totally disinterested. Looked like someone had asked him to eat a cabbage supper after he scored.
Had the exact same reaction. If Ivic is this attached to 3-5-2 and these are the kind of performances we put up he won't be here come the end of the season.
