Eventful game with the league leaders stamford snatchign a equaliser with 6 minutes to go. Ref was utter shyte which ensured hemel fans were fuming.

Cue the events after the final whistle....

finished 1-1 stamford levelled it up with about 6/8 minutes left - cue the "we are top of the league chants" from their fans. Obviously hemel fans frustrated not helped by a woeful ref. Hemel coach moaning at ref after final whistle. Then one of the stamford players gave his view which ensued an exchange of explecitives. This then resulted in the stamford player saying and i quote "i'll f*****g kill ya"
Then the rest of the players got inolved and the staff
pushing and shoving plus furious blows of the whistle which failed to help, it all spilled over into the players "tunnel" metal cage. With both sets of fans swearing the life out themselves at the oppo players and staff with players and fans squaring up at the cage. Eventually the players went down the tunnel and into changing rooms. Cue exchanging of words between fans and a few "scuffles".

The joys of non-league football ;D

    Excellent!

Where's Hemel in the table anyway? Could anyone explain the non-league league structure? How far are Hemel from the Conference say?

They were 5th before last night, however majority of sides below them have anywhere between 2-5 games in hand due to the xmas schedule being hampered by the weather.

For a simple piece on the non-league pyramid visit the following link:

Hemel are 5th in the Southern League Premier Divison which is a direct feeder to the Conference South.
