i know title not very helpful but i shall now explain in the hope you guys can help just took a video on my digital camera and uploaded it to the pc its an avi file but also 86.2mb not so great if i want to send the vid over msn which is proving impossible at the moment anyway to make this file smaller?
Only by losing quality. Plenty of video conversion programs around if you search dodgy download sites. Personally I quite like the "Fox Video Converter".
Try picking up a copy of Nero. I believe it is or certainly was availalbe on a 30 free trial. It's designed for making CDs & DVDs but can also write to files. Yes you will need to recode the video and it is liekly you will need to loose quality yto get it down to a manageable size.
