from eatsleepsport Midfielder Cavalli arrived at Vicarage Road on transfer deadline day from struggling French second division club Istres. Fans who have seen the 25-year-old Frenchman will have noted his lack of size and it will be interesting to see how he adapts to the physical side of the English game.
He's about 10 stone and 5'7'' tall (short). Not quite a midget but very very tiny for a premiership footballer.
Sounds from what Alec says on the website, that Cavalli had a good game, excellent on the ball and a good passer, just needs to improve his fitness (as does Kabba)
Thats what footie needs, Never mind your widening the goals or having offside only in the last third of the pitch. One certified midget on the pitch for each team at any one time. Its the future ;D
from official website profiles: Height: 5' 5" (165cm) Weight: 9st 2lbs (58.0kg) :O in comparision macca: Height: 5' 6" (168cm) Weight: 10st 2lbs (64.47kg)
macca is 5' 6"? he seems way smaller than that to me. Aidy likened the new fella to Andy Reid in terms of physique. Yikes!
What, a lazy fat pie eater who like the ball to his feet, has a terrific left foot, but not much else Id like to see him play
He is exactly the same height and weight as me and I'm all skin, bone and muscle and fit as a fiddle (I play football twice a week and spend 2 hours in the gym twice a week). It means he has a body mass index of 21.3, which falls practically slap bang into the middle of the 'normal' bmi range of 18.5 – 24.9, with it being slightly more towards being underweight. He's by no means an Andy Reid then in terms of weight. However, as Macca's propensity to being shoved off the ball has demonstrated (and he has a higer/heavier bmi of 22.9), then he will probably need to bulk up a bit to properly adapt to the English game. Although I guess Dennis Wise was not at all built.
