Did impress me in the cup game.

Aren't Sissoko, Etebo & Cleverley all very good ball winners but limited in possession though?

No thanks. Good at kicking people though.

None of those three actually win the ball that much and would be able to screen the back 4 in the same way. Choudhury is also much more limited in possession than those three.

Don’t think he’s bad. But I’d also be pretty disappointed if we used a PL loan space up on him.

We don’t utilise loans from better PL clubs nearly enough or indeed at all which is pretty stupid, but if we are to do it then we should be looking at a lot better.

Seem to recall @Filbert didn't really rate him ?

Agreed. But at the moment it doesn’t seem we’ll be using any so...

Weren’t we linked with him before involving a swap deal with Chalobah ?

I thought we wanted Longstaff with Choudhury linked with Newcastle?

    Kayembe is better. End of.

Those kind of moves happen quite late in a window generally though to be fair.

Would have taken him in a heartbeat if we hadn't sign Kayembe. Kayembe is a better player so it's pointless loaning Choudury to stay on our bench. Better for us to loan a defender that is better than what we currently have.

Totally different profiles of player though aren't they?

If Choudry comes in, it is to replace Cleverley rather than Kayembe.

But isn’t he comparing him with Tielemens and Ndidi?

I don’t need to mention who he would be replacing in our team, as they’re essentially non-existent.

So you fancy a midfield of Choudhury, Sissoko and Kayembe?

Top lad, from the same town as me, incredible barnet, dirty *******.

He’s never going to make it at Leicester sadly and needs a fresh start but I can’t see us letting go of any first team players this month.

I think he needs to drop down to the Championship to refine his game and get starts under his belt.

Hey now, that kind of attitude isn’t going to get you anywhere. Kayembe looked decent in the first half last night, there’s a glimmer of hope.

More I do Cleverley, Sissokho and Kayembe.

At least with Choudry you have one player who can tackle, one who can run and one who can pass.

To describe what our Hamza does as ‘tackle’ is a tad generous.

He generally aims to obliterate the opposition’s shins and occasionally one of his studs might graze the football.

Would be nice to have 3 all being able to tackle, run and pass but I guess it would be a start.

    God I miss Capoue.

How did we go from Capoue to Kucka, Tufat and Cleverley?

Norwich had to deal with 2 of the 3 and the midfield they fielded wasn't t full of useless *****.
