Hamilton duo attract interest

    "Hamilton Academical duo Ziggy Gordon and Stephen Hendrie are both attracting strong interest from south of the border, skysports.com understands.

    Despite their relegation from the SPL last season, Hamilton have forged a reputation for producing some of the best talent in Scotland.

    Their willingness to give youngsters a chance in the first-team often sees them stand out early on, as has happened in the past with the likes of James McCarthy and James McArthur - both now at Premier League side Wigan.

    Now it is understood that Gordon and Hendrie, who are both Scottish youth internationals, are being closely tracked by clubs from England.

    It is believed Watford, Barnsley and Preston are among the clubs to be keeping close tabs on the defensive duo.    "
