On the one hand, there have been 10 goals in the last two league games involving Getafe and 7 in the last two involving Granada. But on the other hand, Getafe have only conceded 2 goals in their last 5 home games and Granada have only scored 9 goals in their last 14 away games. I reckon it will be 2-1 Getafe but it's up to you, Pads.
did you see the top scorers for each club, like 3 and 4 and 2 and 3.... getafe not won in 6 Cousin g w2 d2 l2... was looking at over 4 bookings being a spanish game lol 1.35 or suchlike - feck that but shirley must be a winner - hmmm whole pot to win 35 quid... hmmm.
Granada have just scored their 2nd penalty of the night now 2-2!!! And the whistle has gone!!! FINAL SCORE 2-2 :jumping1:
OMG, nice match to watch! 2-1 for Getafe at HT and Granada boldly trying to attack for all second half, risking a lot in counterattacks (1 post and 1 crossbar for Getafe). And then penalty for Granada in injury time and Siqueira scores his second penalty!! 2-2. Well done!!! If our cousins play each match like today, they don't seem to be relegation material at all!
Lol I would have put the whole 107 quid bank on the over 4.5 cards the odds were 1.36 to back but would have won by half time. Ref had average six yellows a game apparently. The forum won £20. Layed getafe when they went 1-0 up at 1.36 about five mins later backed getafe to the stake money after Granada equalised at 2.36. So free bet on draw and Granada win so forum won £20 with no risk from 30 mins in game.
2-0 against Rayo Vallecano. Great victory before we face the "tourmalet": Sevilla (A), Real Madrid (H), Coruña (A), Barcelona (H)
Draw at Sevilla, draw at home to Madrid , win at La Coruna and loss to Barcelona I think. Mind you Sociedad beat Barcelona coming from 2-0 down to win in injury time.... Safety is the aim. Anything else is a bonus.
Knowing that some youtube videos can't be seen on England due to La Liga, I give you a newspaper resume: http://futbol.as.com/futbol/2013/01/19/primera/1358615467_935952.html - Great run of Nyom on first goal - Awesome match of Roberto (goalkeeper) (awesome on 1:50) - Aranda was on the field just 5 minutes before the second goal, and it was first Recio's match on starting eleven Great match, I think best of season. We had never attack so much as today (on the resume, only few attacks)
I see Granada have sacked Antonio Aquella. Surprising considering they are outside the relegation zone. Perhaps a signal of intent that they don't want to just 'survive' every year?
It has been a big surprise. I think the same as you, Pina has declared that he wants more than survive every year. Alcaraz comes back: Granadino, Granada supporter, he leaves yesterday Aris Salomonika arguing "personal issues". Alcaraz goes often to Los Carmenes to see Granada CF, he had seen Granada B sometimes... But his experience on La Liga hasnt been good. But I think he will do everything to make Granada CF be on top.
Oh well, this seems an easy one! You simply cannot miss the 3 points!!! Good luck! (quite needed this time)
Granada doing ok ATM considering its real Madrid, nice to see Ronaldo scoring the wrong end for once!
Wow. If just they can keep this, that would be one of those days when you really like to take a good satisfaction against not a big, but an ultrabig team! It will be difficult of course. This tweet I've read is pure genius: "Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored against all 20 teams in La Liga!" :jumping1:
Obvious willing handball by Modric should have been his second yellow! But we all know how the referees are "friendly" with the big teams.
Three heavy points towards safety are already a good reason to :jumping1: But against Real Madrid! And with at least a couple of very very dubious calls by the ref (should have been a red and a pen against Real)! ... then it's :jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1:
Watford and Granada have both had dodgy referees today but managed to win - come on Udinese, make it a treble v Milan!
How sweet to read, now, the presentation of the match on http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...l-madrid-la-liga-live-score-highlights-recap: "Saturday's main event in La Liga features two sides that could not be much more different from each other this season. Granada are one of the most solvent clubs in Spain but have nothing that even resembles a superstar. Real Madrid, on the other hand, are in massive debt but make such large profits that the debt is very manageable, and they still draw the world's biggest stars to the club."
