That's why I went for the draw no bet. I thought if either team is likely to win it'll probably be Brighton, but could quite easily be a draw.

Aldershot-Northampton (Northampton) (wanted to do DNB on Northampton due to their away record bet BetFred are s**t and don't have many markets on lower games.)

Just seen that i actually decided on backing the draw, instead.

 

£3 on both Villa and Chelsea going through to the final of the League Cup. Pays about £18.

Thanks to you lot I put £5 on the draw. Villa 1-1 almost came in too.

It's hard to tell when the Wurzels have just lost their manager.

You can never tell what they're going to do. Their confidence might collapse or they might be wanting to show what they can do for the new boss. Ipshhit are no great shakes either. I'd be tempted to leave that match alone and look for something else a little more predicatable (Manure - Foolham?)

I reckon on going for a few draws again after my success last week (50p bet paid out £20.72). I'm looking at:-

Tranmere - Swindon
Fleetwood - Oxford
Lincoln - Forest Green

Probably on a yankee.

True. Might replace Ipwich with Norwich (-1) vs L*ton.

Those look decent to be draws, only one I'd be worried about is B'mouth Crewe. B'mouth are slipping a little but are unbeaten in 9 home games, winning 7, whereas Crewe don't look great away, winning just 3 of their last 18 on their travels but are picking up a bit of form recently.

Norwich-L*ton: Norwich (-2) @3.10
M'boro-Aldershot: M'boro (-2) @3.25

I did it about 5 minites before Charlton and Ipswich imploded and conceded their losing goals, managed to get a profit out of it.

50p on a 5-1 Watford win @ 66/1
50p on Deeney 1st in a 4-1 win @ 100/1
£1 on a Vydra hat-trick @ 25/1

Also got Stoke, Millwall, Crawley(called off now) and MK @ 25/1, guessing that'll be scaled back as Crawley is off.

Done 4 draws tonight, Motherwell was postponed but got the treble up nonetheless. Only had 50p on but a win is a win!

 

Today have done 6 teams to win both halves
Everton,Tranmere,Notts Co,Port Vale,Grimsby & Falkirk - done a 0.30 sixfold which pays £3200 and a more realistic 15x8p doubles which pays a max of £28.48.

£5 returned about £55 so can't compain

 

So, I've found out that my 40/1, £5 bet on Vydra top scorer was actually an £2.50 E/W bet. Returns 1/4 for first 4 places. I'm probably being stupid, but what does this mean I get if he finishes in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th?

 

EW is win and place (effectively two desperate bets - (2.50 WIN 2.50 PLACE)

If he is top scorer you get paid twice. 2.50 at 40/1 (Win) and 2.50 at 10/1 (Place). If he is 2nd, 3rd or 4th, you only get paid the place odds, so 2.50 at 10/1.

 

Meh, at least I'll probably end up with £25 out of it! Ta.
