To be perfectly honest the Americans are a very insular Country, I know this I lived there for six years in Chicago, they would ask me where I came from in Australia, and I would say not Australia, but Scotland, then they would say what part of England is that in.

About ten years ago I used to rent a shooting Lodge in the Glens in Scotland for the Summer, was a massive house owned by the Oppenheimer family from South Africa, must of had at least 30 rooms. I had the Office in Chicago convinced I was a Lord for at least 2 weeks.

They have no clue about World News or Geography.

 

is that stat true that about 40% of americans have never left america? geo teacher stated it a few weeks back, if so who can blame them if they dont know where countries are what they're currency is.
