Could Boothroyd do a Redknapp and maybe pull in a decent freebie Claus Jensen anyone - I think he's still Prem Quality, surely one of the better frees out there, would have some midfield with him in it! Anyone think of any better ones!
i severly doubt jensen would come he left fulham because they play hoof ball so why would he join us????????????
Since Aidy wants more experience and another forward I'm surprised we haven't tried to sign Henrik Pedersen. Claus Jensen would be a superb signing. I hope we're at least _trying_ to get him to Watford, although I have to say our chances are slim. Lee Hendrie is another good midfielder, but I guess he'll go to Stoke. Although somewhat unrealistic perhaps, and although I despise this guy, Quiton Fortune would really be a nice addition to our squad ... One player we should _really_ try to sign is Alessandro Pistone. He's getting a bit old perhaps, but a two-year-deal would definitely be worth it.
Claus has already said that if he went to Denmark it would be home to Lyngby from whence he came. Clubs like Ipshits has been rumoured to be after him, but I would say Aidy is not doing his job right if he didn't try to sign Claus.

Henrik PEdersen is in talks with Preston apparently. Claus as mentioned linked to Ipshits. Claus won't be coming to Lyngby this point in time - we just signed a 23yo Faroese international midfielder - I never heard of before.
Ones that stick out are: Stephen Jordan: I thought he looked ok and we need a left back, in fact now i know he is available on a free (or would compensation be needed?) i feel we should be linked with him! Quinton Fortune: could be an interesting option, but he seems to struggle with injuries and as he'd probably reject a pay-when-you-play deal i fear he could be a costly mistake. Pistone: same situation as Fortune Claus Jensen: Would like to see someone with a big name sign as a midfielder (even though i'm sure those we have will do a good job). Wouldn't have to move far...but he doesn't like the style we played last season Moore: Good central defender, again has struggled with injury though

Others are going to have to dig deep in pre-season training to become match fit, but you never know.
