Have you noticed that now Fossie has played for England the tv commentators are saying "Man Utd goalkeeper on loan at Watford" whereas before it was "Watford's goal keeper on loan from Man Utd" Subtle change of emphasis but again licking the ar*e of the big clubs.
Thing is he is a United player. Sure, he's in the England squad entirely based on performances for Watford but he's still their player. I just hope Fergie doesn't forget what Watford did for him when he gets this fantastic England goalkeeper back at the end of a 2yr loan spell. Hopefully he'll be sending us some more decent yoof in the near future.
If only he was a tad more agile - he would have saved that shot and proved he is a world class keeper - Banks, Shilton, Bonetti, Jennings all would of saved it as would have Richard Lee.
So wrong Paddy. There is only one of those keepers that would have saved that Richard Lee football genius;D
You joke but I actually rate Lee as a better keeper, In saying that though Ben did have a faultless, if relatively quiet, debut, it did make me proud to know that he is (to us) a Golden Boy, Well done Ben, Don't get too upset about the goal, there was nothing you could do, and besides, Robinson let in a howler against Croatia! ;D
I see on sky sports foster is leading the man of the match poll. i thought his kicking was great shame about the goal there was no way he was going to get to it.
Richard Lee should never have been sent to Blackburn. I just hope he gets back in the side as No 1 and eventually competes with Ben for the England spot. I genuinely think he's got the potential to do it.
