Commentator on ITV (Sam Matterface?) just said we are interested? Seen it mentioned on Twitter and normally wouldn’t comment on such tenuous links - but he quoted £17.7m pounds which seems very precise?!

 

It's €20 million, which is the price Galatasaray have been quoting this summer to all comers.

Now that we've signed Foster it seems quite clear that we decided to look elsewhere, or the story was just nonsense to begin with.

 

Turkish clubs have big ambition but are cash poor. It sounded like the club rather than Muslera were looking to cash in. Watford and other clubs in Italy looking for a GK were loosely linked. This fumble has cost Galatasaray a huge amount of money and will affect their transfer window. Don't think there was ever much in this story.
