Accepted, it wasn't his greatest moment of the game. But I'm guessing a lot of that was annoyance at missing the earlier opportunity that he just wanted to put right. Sitting on the bench is obviously frustrating for him, and ballsing up the first chance must have magnified this so having the chance to be put through clear, offside or not, was clearly upsetting to him.

I have no issue with this. And perhaps, if he was concentrating on his own preparation, he didn't even realise it was Deeney's hatrick.

Meldrew may have half a point but because it's from meldrew its validity is negated. Not being facetious, but anyone who is so relentlessly negative deserves to have anything they say assessed in the light of that relentless negativity.

Besides, I think it is a massive wind-up perpetuated by a multiple personality - my guess is it is highgrade/Moor Park (who accidentally outed himself last week). btw I think the complete divergence between Richard and highgrade is admirable, and that person may well be Sharia4Watford, and meridensi as well.

I agree - but that is completely natural. If someone has demonstrated himself to be an @rse for a sustained period, why should he be given the respect of rational appraisal of a post when, once in a while, he may post something halfway reasonable. After reading the point in bold, I'd love to have this forum anonymous for a week. I reckon there would be much, much more genuine debate rather than people seeing someone's username and immediately thinking 'funny user', 'miserable user', 'TVOR' etc and replying with that in mind.
