Having checked my mail box again you are correct, I instigated the private mails. I was wrong about that and apologise although my messages only show one, so not exactly constantly (thought they would all be deleted when I blocked you but seems not). Think a lot of posters on here can be guilty of being immature at times, seen it on many threads where two posters have arguments and it spills into other threads, etc so after that happening a couple of times I decided to block you as its not something the forum needs, but it happens to quite a lot of people here. I think the original argument was about Assombalonga and it got out of hand as I wrongly sent a PM and you were 'following' me around the forum disliking my posts in completely unrelated threads. Both immature actions worthy of primary school children.
Norni sent a picture of himself, and, touchingly, GD kept it. I think that's lovely. #ValentinesReconciliation
Back to Diego. I had a dream last night that Fabbrini scored every goal in a 5-0 win against Virtus Entella, who had Batto in goal for some reason.
According to many on twitter (both Birmingham and Millwall fans) he had another great game. Birmingham fans saying how they'd love to get him on loan next season... wonder if they are happy with Dyer
Lots of great comments on twitter tonight A few highlights 'I'd happily shoot Fabbrini in the knee caps the day he heads back to Watford. If we can't have him...' ' Diego Fabbrini is one class player! He ran rings round us today' 'As well as Hooiveld of course there is the man himself... The first and only Millwall player to ever do a flip flap ❤️ ohh Diego Fabbrini' Sounds like the Bermondsey Maradona is doing bits up at Brum! #Fabbrini
Seen a lot of Millwall fans saying they wouldn't be able to afford him. Wouldn't be surprised (although not sure on their finances) if he goes for about £1m
Also Dyers subbed off Birmingham and McGooboy subbed off for Sheffwed + of course Jakubiak subbed off for Dagenham + Redbridge, have I missed any other of our loanees playing this evening before you ask Hogg wasn't playing
Some quotes from Birmingham fans: "Diego Fabbrini dominated us tonight, deserved to beat us #bcfc" "both were absolute passengers, no impact on the game whatsoever. Couldn't get anywhere near Fabbrini" "Diego Fabbrini is one class player! He ran rings round us today" "If that Fabbrini (their number 8) is available for loan again from Watford next season, I'd definitely have him." "Diego Fabbrini has tore us a new one" Good to know it's not just Millwall fans being excited about a player in a blue shirt not being useless for once. Oppo fans and journos praising him, too. Keep that value rising, Diego.
And once again.. did he score? Nope. Did he assist? Nope. He assisted the assisted though so we're getting somewhere.
Why would that make me thick? Good reports from Millwall fans on Twitter doesn't mean he can offer US anything as of yet. If he starts providing assists it may be a different story. I just think Millwall standards are dreadfully low. But I hope I'm wrong like I was with Ighalo.
How many assists did Gomes get against Blackburn? You can influence games and results without directly scoring or assisting. Ask a scout.
LOL what!? Now who's thick!? Gomes is a goalkeeper he is judged in a totally different way. Fabbrini an ATTACKER. He contributes towards ATTACKING play by scoring or creating goals. Assists and goals are the main measurement of your influence unless you're a player like Modric who tends to be the pass before the assist which Fabbrini is not. Yes he was fouled for the FK which led to the goal but that's not enough. Jury's still out for me mate.
@LionsLiveRadio "Fabbrini making all the runs, being more vocal today and dictating service in the box." Could fit into the formation we played today ....
LOL it was an extreme example to get the message across that if you only look at the black and white of goals/assists to judge players, you'll get skewed results. Either way, sounds like it's another excellent, confident-building, value-boosting performance from a player we own, Diego Fabbrini. Surely can only be a positive thing, right?
Hmm, the black and white is normally important. Gomes has 8 clean sheets this season and makes numerous excellent saves. Ighalo scores goals. Deeney scores goals. Anyway, at least the Millwall fans are saying good things which is more than can be said of Birmingham fans and Lloyd Dyer.
Much rather stick my neck out than reply 6 months later and say 'told you so'. Just looked at some of your posts and in the space of a week you said that 'we might scrap play offs' to 'I fancy us for top two' I've done a bit of WatfordTalk'ing and had quite a bit of fun actually. http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread...y-22-11-2014&p=1021063&viewfull=1#post1021063 - You said Pudil was better than Forsyth. The same Forsyth who's started every game for the best team in the division? http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?52804-Scotland-Away&p=1020659#post1020659 - Wanting to sell Anya and then saying in todays thread 'Anya was superb , I feel some of the albeit justified criticism about his delivery is because he is left to do it all on his own as midfield don't give him enough options for pass back http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?52944-Next-Manager&p=1018261&viewfull=1#post1018261 - Wanting Beppe back. Yet saying Joka looks a great appointment here - http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread...McKinlay-the-right-move&p=1014275#post1014275 Etc. We all make mistakes, I'm man enough to admit them openly and I'm not scared to stick my neck out with an opinion. It seems like ****ish Town is an aptly named place for you to live mate.
Can I just remind you that we won tonight, so cheer up and enjoy it, instead of traipsing through internet forum history. Have a good night Squibba, I generally enjoy your posts very much
I am enjoying it but you're on a forum, reply and say why you disagree with my opinion on Fabbrini. Would've been much better than taking a cheap shot at my judgement but hey ho, goodnight!
Even if they got relegated, I'd love to see Fabbrini in League One. Not because I dislike him, just because I think he'd waltz through teams for fun and it'd be incredible to watch.
I assume you are suggesting that he replaces Fernando? I honestly don't think that would be any improvement whatsoever. If he came back he should be on the bench but not a starter until such time (if ever) his end product is more effective.
