I bet Luther would be game for an encore.

Shame for him to end his career at Chesham Utd.

I'm also accusing the Wolves fans of it as well ;)

I am actually optimistic, I'm just saying that I think that the eventual winner (if not City) would most likely have to beat City at some point so it might as well be when they have other concerns.

I have money on us to lift the trophy and have been lamenting City's easy draws since the fourth round, for the very reasons that I've stated - I truly believed most top 10 prem teams could beat them in this cup, but that would be down to rotation. Something they're unlikely to do in the final as its so far away from other games.

Maybe drivel was the wrong word so apologies for that!

Oh and of course Brighton will give it a good go and City may well not reach the final... But we or Wolves would cause them more of an issue.

I don't suppose 'It's A' could 'win' a penalty and score this time?

There would be an irony if he earned a dodgy penalty against the team that seem destined to win as much as the officials can let them

Not much said about us on Talksport apart from we are physical and will give Wolves a close game....

God, we really are being set up to be the new Stoke aren’t we.

Currently, we have 58 yellows vs Wolves' 60. Reds: 2 us, 1 them.

    Equally barbaric.

Among the cleanest teams are Citeh, Liverpool, Palarse & Muff.

Diving presumably isn't a yellow card offence.

Well that's me out then. Bought the Missus tickets for a fancy event with the boat race, 5pm might have just been doable. Just for the record I am unbelievably free on May 18th !!!!

Stupid Wembley rule, if this game was at The Vic as it rightly should be I'd have us favourites.

I think it just proves that our reserves are better than West Ham’s reserves.

Well its all about Deeney knocking everyone about and Capoue/Doucouré being big and powerful in the midfield.

Of course if we had a better striker Deeney might not be playing and this is by far and away Capoue's best season.

And on occasions we take a long throw or score from a corner (even though generally we aren't very good at them)

They did mention Gomes and how nice it would be for him to sign off with a game at Wembley.

This was when H&J were speaking to Motty who quite likes us as well!

Any chance of finding someone off the bench to take your place on the tideway?

Glamorous Steve Parish is unexpectedly free that pm.

But the semi final of the FA. Cup has always been at a neutral venue, even before it was moved to Wembly.

I did love a comment about our tie with one of the pundits at the end of the game on BT who clearly doesn’t understand statistics.

“This is a real 50/50 game, but I saw Wolves last night night and they were great so I just have to bet on them.”

    Mmmm.

“Flicking a coin it’s 50/50 which side it will land, but last night a saw a coin tails up so I just can’t see it being heads next time I flick.”

We'll beat Wolves, Brighton will beat Man City, Knockaert will score a 90th minute in the final. FML

Ideally, Javi will bring back Almunia, for sentimental reasons.

Almoo saves last min Knocker pen, then the rebound, Mapps hoofs, deft control from Ken before Janmaat takes over with a deep cross, Nate nods back & Dre... fires it into Wembley Way.

Looks like both semis will be on at the same time.

A nod to the 'last day of the season' thing? Allows Lineker to cut dramatically from one to the other on MotD.

That's just the holding time until the dates are agreed. Officially the ties are both at Wembley and on the 6th & 7th. Think we'l be the Sunday - seems the logical option (based on points made earlier in this thread)

Interesting if that's the chosen ko time, as it'll clash with the only televised PL match that day.
