I am actually optimistic, I'm just saying that I think that the eventual winner (if not City) would most likely have to beat City at some point so it might as well be when they have other concerns.

I have money on us to lift the trophy and have been lamenting City's easy draws since the fourth round, for the very reasons that I've stated - I truly believed most top 10 prem teams could beat them in this cup, but that would be down to rotation. Something they're unlikely to do in the final as its so far away from other games.

Maybe drivel was the wrong word so apologies for that!

 

Oh and of course Brighton will give it a good go and City may well not reach the final... But we or Wolves would cause them more of an issue.

 

I don't suppose 'It's A' could 'win' a penalty and score this time?

 

There would be an irony if he earned a dodgy penalty against the team that seem destined to win as much as the officials can let them

Among the cleanest teams are Citeh, Liverpool, Palarse & Muff.

Diving presumably isn't a yellow card offence.

Good news. Once it's confirmed that MC are in the final we can jiust field our reserves against Wolves.

Stupid Wembley rule, if this game was at The Vic as it rightly should be I'd have us favourites.

That's just the holding time until the dates are agreed. Officially the ties are both at Wembley and on the 6th & 7th. Think we'l be the Sunday - seems the logical option (based on points made earlier in this thread)

Interesting if that's the chosen ko time, as it'll clash with the only televised PL match that day.

Would be great to have both games back to back with each team getting a 1/4 of the stadium.

 

With rotating stands or pitch so that each fan gets behind the goal at some point.
