If I lived there I would support Brighton.

    Still have the uprights though.
You obviously won't need telling but the Arthur Wait stand is well past its sell by date and you can see why people resent paying what they do to sit there.

The planned main stand looks very nice btw. Hope you get it built and one day get the other side done.

Don't get this. We have capacity of less than 21,000 since being in the Prem we have had a gate of 20,000 plus in every single match except Burnley this season, who only sold about 65% of their allocation.

It's a funny one because one would presume the club would want start where the visible problem is, the Arthur Wait, but i think the shameful fact the the main stand is actually still a wooden structure is more pressing for them. It also allows us to completely revamp the hospitality side of things

The bbc will do all they can to avoid having us live unless we make the final of course.

  7. Well they don't have 8 year olds like you coming on this forum spouting 'my dads bigger than yours' for starters

Your entitled to your opinion about millwall. I personally feel sorry for the many Millwall fans who suffer with the reputation caused by idiots. Did you not see the fallout from the Everton game? It's people like you that condone behaviour such as that by spreading the notion that it somehow makes them a 'proper' club. Millwall have not done anything in their history apart from garnering public attention as a result of awful football violence. The ground is silent for league matches and 1/4 full. They only pipe up in the FA cup but that gets ruined by violence and racism.

  10. I don't condone millwall behaviour, but I appreciate the fact they don't come on this board spouting nonsense like you 8 year old stripey nigels.

Look, it's half term, the weather is a bit pants, there hasn't been a new COD game for months and you're bored. I get that. Why don't you try the Everton board, they usually like arguments about who has the biggest this, that or the other.

No one on here really cares.

This debate has effectively boiled down to asking oneself who's better; Laurence Bazini or Simon Jordan?

Truth is both clubs deserve to be in the PL because they are. This league doesn't take any prisoners so if you don't make the grade you're soon found out.

    Poor one to drop.

Let’s get Roy in the Ashes team.

I'd have a guess at a few reasons. Capacity- As poor as the Arthur Waite is it's nearly double the cap of the main stand. Away fans- They could go in the main stand i guess but a bit of a logistical problem i would imagine. Logistics- more room to maneuver behind the main stand.. though would still be a tight construction area.
I seem to recall reading that the Arthur Waite stand would problematical (and expensive) to redevelop because of the slope down that side. Similar problems to what we've had at Vicarage Road coincidently.

I couldn't read the last 7 pages of this thread but to summarise:
    • Palace are ****.
    • Watford are fairly good.
    Prediction: Watford 2-1 Palace.

Would singing "You all live in a Zaha submarine", be too subtle for the Palace fans?

Egg and chip butties all around before the game. Do not even think about getting in ahead of Deeney.

A good draw for us and a chance to do the triple over Woy and his featherless freaks. Shame the two manure clubs didnt get thrown together.

Wow, ten pages since the day of the cup draw, great to see us all taking this competition seriously. Still buzzing after tonight's result when thanks to the kind draw we've had so far we have a real chance of challenging on two fronts (might have been three with just a bit more luck in the League Cup).

On the subject of trebles and bogey teams, interestingly we did the treble on Burnley (previously very much a bogey team, like Palace) when we beat them in 2003 en route to the semi finals, also in the quarters.

Ticket prices look like they're going to be pretty reasonable. Palace charging £18 for an adult ticket.
