I don't know why you're gunning for Rooney, cthulhu - for me, Sterling has been the problem. Not just because of that early miss but has generally been shocking.
Hart invited that but putting the wall on his left and standing right of the centre of the goal. For all of England's possession, we've been dilly-dallying around. Apart from the Sterling chance we've not created much, has Rooney reverted to type, Sterling is worse than he was on Saturday, Kane not in the game, the list goes on.
I may be being unfair happy. It's just his England record isn't that great in tournaments. Sterling is he match fit? Also I hate how all the plastic southern footie fans I'm sitting watching this with see him as a talisman when he isn't. He is a proven failure at tournaments and he shouldn't be an automatic, let alone shoe horning a team around him playing out of position. If this keeps up it will be brexit. Going by that first half performance, Robson Kanu would be an ideal replacement for Deeney if he were to leave

We were by far the better team, but our attacking play was rather poor to say the least. Bale was borderline anonymous outside of his goal.

Bale has not been at his best so far in this tournament, perhaps he is spent after his long hard season; therefore I think he should be left out of the next game at least, and maybe for the rest of the tournament should we progress from the group. That is providing that Sturridge and Vardy continue to perform well of course. Furthermore I think Sterling should be left out too, as he has not been playing well either.

Personally I think Luis Suarez hasn't been at his best for England in this tournament and I'd like to see him replaced by Dimitri Payet.
